How it works
Round Tonight is for everyone who wants to go out tonight without planning – new in town, friends busy, or just up for new faces.
1 · Find a round
“Discover” shows open rounds near you (within 1.5 km in cities): title, vibe, languages and who's there – without names, with gender, languages and favourite drinks. The exact bar stays hidden until you're accepted. The web app needs your location for this.
2 · Ask to join
Tap “I'm in”. 2 credits are put on hold, not charged yet. The host sees your full profile (name, gender, languages, favourite drinks, pace) and accepts or declines.
3 · Accepted
When accepted, the credits are charged and you see the bar's name and address. No answer within 15 minutes, or declined: you get everything back.
4 · Check in
The bar has a Round Tonight coaster with a code. Enter it, or check in by location – so the round knows you've arrived.
Host your own
Already at a bar? Start a round for 3 to 10 people – for free. You earn 1 credit for every guest who checks in (up to 5 per night).
When does it end?
Rounds end at 4 am at the latest, or when the host closes them.
Scheduled meetups (no host)
Some venues have fixed times, e.g. “Fri 8 pm”, in German or English. You sign up from 72 hours before (2 credits on hold) and can cancel for free until 60 minutes before the start. Then it's decided: with 3 or more people we form tables of up to 6, charge the credits and show you the venue and the chat. Not enough people? The meetup is cancelled and you get your credits back. Whoever checks in first is the captain.
Events by venues
Venues can create their own events, e.g. a quiz night – often with a small offer. They work like scheduled meetups; for events you see the venue's name upfront.
Bring friends
Once you're in, you can invite up to 2 friends via a link (e.g. on WhatsApp). They only see where you are once they've joined; for rounds the host accepts as usual. At meetups you sit at the same table. When someone checks in for the first time via your invitation, you get 1 credit.
